Courtney McCarthy, a native of Northern Virginia, practices law in the areas of Domestic Relations (divorce, custody, support, premarital agreements, separation agreements and enforcement actions), Wills, Estates and Trusts (planning, administration and litigation) and Elder Law (Guardianships and Conservatorships for incapacitated adults). She has also been serving as a certified Guardian ad litem for Children since 1996 and as a Certified Guardian ad litem for Incapacitated Adults since 1999.
Ms. McCarthy received her B.A. degree in Political Science from James Madison University in 1992 and her Juris Doctorate degree from Syracuse University College of Law where she graduated cum laude in 1995. After law school, she returned to the Northern Virginia area and was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Virginia in 1995.
